The project
Who we are
We are Carme and Dani, two enthusiasts of wine tourism, gastronomy, culture, and traditions. We want all of this to be experienced within our surrounding territory; in short, we are all about local experiences and want to share them. For this reason, we have created the concept of SLOW TOURISM.
In Bages, we have the privilege of being in what is possibly the DO (Designation of Origin) that currently boasts the most historical wine heritage. Starting with the name Bages, which comes from Bacchus, the pagan king of wine, where the shape of the region outlines the relief of a grape leaf. With almost 28,000 hectares of vineyards in 1890, we find hidden vineyards on all slopes with their dry stone walls, as well as their huts. More than 7,000 constructions have been cataloged and declared by UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, among them 1,200 are located in Pont de Vilomara, along with the Dry Stone Vats of the Flequer Valley. Furthermore, we have a special terroir integrated within the Central Catalonia World Geopark. More than 36 million years ago, this land was covered by a sea. The Montserrat massif, the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park, the Coves del Toll of Moià, or the Cardona Salt Diapir are its most important examples.
From this rich heritage, our passion for wine, gastronomy, and culture unite in a unique Slow Tourism experience. We seek to connect with this ancestral land, discovering it at a slower pace, which allows us to appreciate the details and connect with its essence.
We strive to create activities that reflect this philosophy, highlighting local and seasonal products, integrating them into authentic and original experiences that enrich the journey of our slow travelers.
With our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment, we seek unique spaces where we can pair the wines of the DO Pla de Bages with delicious local gastronomy, involving local producers and businesses to share their passion and authenticity.
We want our slow travelers not only to enjoy the territory and its heritage but also to become true ambassadors of this wonderful region, spreading their experience and love for this unique land.
